Effective date: 10 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how personal data is handled when you use the mobile game Modern Lines for Android (the “App”). The App is developed by Denis Bykovskii and published under the name Firzj (“we”, “us”). This policy is written to meet the requirements of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR and similar laws.

  1. Who is responsible for your data

The controller for the App is:
Denis Bykovskii (Firzj)
Email: [email protected]
Website: https://firzj.com

  1. Summary
  • The App has no user accounts, no registration and no in-app purchases.
  • We do not run our own servers for the App and do not receive or store your personal data.
  • Your game progress and settings stay on your device.
  • The App shows ads through Google AdMob. Google processes some device data to deliver and measure those ads. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland we ask for your consent first.
  1. Data stored only on your device

The App saves the following information in your device’s local storage so the game can work:

  • settings (language, theme, sound, vibration and display options);
  • best scores for each game mode;
  • an unfinished game, so you can continue it later.

This information never leaves your device and is not sent to us or to third parties. You can delete it at any time with “Reset records” in the App’s settings, by clearing the App’s data in Android settings, or by uninstalling the App.

  1. Advertising with Google AdMob

The App is free and is funded by advertising. We use Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland (“Google”), to show a banner at the bottom of the screen and a full-screen ad after a game ends.

When an ad is requested or shown, Google may collect and process:

  • device identifiers, including the Android Advertising ID;
  • your IP address and an approximate location derived from it;
  • device and app information, such as device model, operating system version, language and app version;
  • information about the ads shown to you and your interactions with them, such as views and clicks;
  • diagnostic data used to detect fraud and to keep the ad service working.

Google uses this data to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure ad performance, prevent fraud and, if you agree, show personalized ads based on your interests.

Consent and legal basis

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, the App shows a consent form from Google’s User Messaging Platform the first time you open it. This form is based on the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. Google and its advertising partners store or access information on your device and process your data for advertising only as you choose in this form.

  • Personalized advertising and storing or accessing information on your device rely on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the ePrivacy rules).
  • If you do not consent, Google may still show non-personalized or limited ads. Where the law allows, this relies on legitimate interests in funding the App and preventing fraud (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), as described in the consent form.

How to change your choice

  • Open Settings > Ad privacy settings in the App to view or change your consent at any time. This option appears when it applies in your region.
  • On Android you can reset or delete your Advertising ID under Settings > Privacy > Ads (the path may differ by device).
  • Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

  1. Links to other services

The “Privacy policy” and “Rate the app” buttons open our website or Google Play. When you visit them, the privacy policy of that website or service applies.

  1. International data transfers

Google may process data outside the EEA, including in the United States. Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission to protect such transfers.

  1. How long data is kept

Data stored on your device stays there until you delete it as described in section 3. Google keeps advertising data according to its own retention policies.

  1. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in your country (up to 16 in some EU countries). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has used the App in a way that led to data being processed, please contact us and we will help you resolve it.

  1. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data concerning you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have your data erased;
  • restrict processing;
  • data portability;
  • object to processing based on legitimate interests;
  • withdraw your consent at any time;
  • lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, in particular in the country where you live or work.

We do not hold personal data about you, so most requests about advertising data are handled by Google. Contact us at [email protected] and we will help you.

  1. Security

The App stores game data only locally and does not send it over the network. Communication with Google’s ad services is encrypted.

  1. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the App or the law changes. The current version is always available on this page, and the effective date at the top shows when it was last changed.
